51 :: Sex Toys + Intimacy with Isabelle Deslauriers

Episode Description

While in college Isabelle Deslauriers discovered a major gap in the sex toy industry. There were no luxurious, well designed, safe toys made specifically for women or women’s health. She said, “What was on the market didn’t resonate with my view of what sexuality was. For me, sexuality was always deeply intertwined with intimacy and even romance. I couldn’t find anything at the time that gave me that feeling.”
After a dare from her college classmates, Isabelle chose to focus her senior project on developing a new sex toy that would be safe, aesthetically pleasing and effective without batteries.
Join us for a warm, insightful and inspiring conversation about sex toys, women’s health, the dangers of materials used in sex toys and how to develop deeper intimacy with yourself and your partner through the use of Desirables’ dildo, the ‘Dalia,’ and their internal massage stones, the ‘Adori.’
