29 :: Sexual Sovereignty with Saida Désilets

Episode Description

Saida Désilets’ journey is one that flowed from erotic innocence, through near-deadly sexual trauma, to healing. Her experiences are a testament to the fact that the right direction is not always the easy one. Despite facing extreme challenges in life, Saida has always chosen to embrace her wounds and use them to lead her on her path of synchronicity and discovery.

Saida’s jade egg practice and research on the psychological aspects of sexuality has helped support and transform tens, perhaps hundreds of thousands, of women around the world, over the course of her career. We learn that there is a massive industry that thrives from our lack of confidence and lack of self knowledge, and how to honor and respect ourselves and our choices while leaning into a sacred sexual space within ourselves and our lives.

Embracing the playfulness of summer.. it's a choice! What are choosing?

Ahhh…. sweet summertime is here and I’m feeling absolutely whelmed (in the best way) with gratitude and love. So far this summer has been incredible… and intentional.  Last year I stressed, strained, worked, pushed and neglected to play as much as I wanted to, to give myself some freedom from the norm to just chill and be outside more often than not.  I worked away on my to-do list while others were taking vacations, working short weeks and enjoying summer to the fullest…. I told myself.. NOT AGAIN!  I will make family & friends time, play time, travel time and vacation time a priority this summer! There is a lot of good change that has taken place recently. I also took some time to travel to where many of my good friends, colleagues, and memories are… CALIFORNIA! It’s been a whirlwind because my daughter, Kaya (who also came out for part of the trip) and I moved into a new place in Buffalo the day after we returned from our trip. It was a calculated risk to move and I am sooo thankful that, despite fears and doubts, I said YES to this heart opening and reality expanding opportunity!  I … Continue reading

I don't brag about having this skill anymore..

Over the years I’ve found that there are skills and behaviors that I’ve developed out of a need to do all that I felt needed to be done in order to ‘hold it all together’ or to ‘be a great success.’ These skills and beliefs have assisted me in managing life as a single mom, freelance consultant and now Mompreneur with two businesses and a full life! As I grow on my own evolutionary transformational journey though, I’m realizing that some of these skills, habits and beliefs are no longer serving me in what I truly desire to experience on the day to day.  One ‘skill’ in particular is multitasking. A while back I started to realize how multitasking was taking me away from the present moment, keeping me totally distracted to things that are really important to me, I realized that I wasn’t being the best listener, Mother, Friend etc. I also realized that the need to multitask really came from a deep limiting belief riding on a wave of fear that ‘If I don’t manage all of the hundreds of tasks in my life right now, I’ll never ‘make it’ or ‘get there.’ My first life coach Julie Cramer (she’s … Continue reading
